When working with people, it never stops being a joy to see how quickly their lives can change by identifying why they have the issues they come for and the best, quickest pathway out of them.

This is true whether someone comes for an Irlen Syndrome screening or because of a life limitation that we use the Body Code to improve.

For example, a young woman came recently for an Irlen screening because her co-worker had such great relief from her headaches and stress after starting to use her color overlays on her computer screen.

The co-worker was also experiencing great fatigue and heaviness in her head after working on her computer, and she wanted to find out if it would help her.

As part of the screening, I discussed the fact that symptoms, including those she was experiencing, are the body's way of letting her know that something needed fixing--the most fundamental level being emotional stress. She
emotionally acknowledged that her mother was obsessed with her getting good grades in school as a child--so much so that she would say, "If you don't do well I won't love you."

What a tragedy to have to hold those hurtful thoughts all her life! Thankfully, the door opened for her to discover how they were still hurting her and to be able to let them go. After the screening, we did a short Body Code session, releasing that and several other stressors.

She left with color overlays that gave her great improvement and MINUS those hurtful words! Can't wait to hear how positively her life changes...Will update you.

hanks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience of mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
